It wasn't until my own health issues that my real learning about what it takes to be healthy and happy began.
Eleven years ago, two weeks after my Dad died, on my birthday I had a lifesaving operation to remove a Melanoma.
I should have been better after this, right? No, this diagnosis was the end result of a body and life out of balance.
I was stressed and burnt out, had gut issues and started to put on weight.
Have you gone through a stressful time like a divorce, death or trauma and are feeling the same way?
I made it my mission to rebuild my body and mind in a healthier way.
Already a Naturopath, I started studying health coaching through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, which changed my life.
I learned about the importance of not only food but Primary Food.
It’s easy to overlook all of the things that contribute to our sense of nourishment and fulfillment.
It’s not just the food we eat, but all of the other factors present in our daily lives.
Healthy relationships, a fulfilling career, regular physical activity and a spiritual awareness are essential forms of nourishment.
When these “primary foods” are balanced, what you eat becomes secondary.
I am passionate about empowering you with the knowledge and skills to make permanent changes to your health,
so you can live a healthier, happier life.
My aim is to help you create a plan based on your goals and then translate this information into practical everyday steps.
